Public transport

There are various bus routes taking you around Queenstown

  • Number 1 bus (Green line) is direct to the hotel, stopping near most hotels along Frankton Road
  • Line 4 (Orange line) and Line 5 (Purple) also stop along Frankton Road and Queenstown. 15 minutes walk from QT. 

Please note: Buses only take cash and it is $4.00 NZD/fare

Parking

There are various parking spots around Queenstown. The closest to QT Queenstown is Lakeview parking lot and Man Street parking lot (please see attachment below). 

Ski activities

Make the most of your time in Queenstown with a visit to the region’s spectacular ski fields, Coronet Peak and/or The Remarkables. Both offer incredible scenery and a fantastic range of terrain for beginners through to experienced skiers and snowboarders.

Getting there
Regular ski bus transfers depart from Queenstown to both mountains from 7:30am each morning, making it easy to enjoy a day on the slopes without needing to drive. It is essential to pre-book your seat in advance.

Lift passes and packages
There are multiple pass options available to suit different schedules and experience levels. These include:

  • Full day lift passes
  • Shorter options such as First Tracks, 2-hour passes, or afternoon passes
  • Beginner packages for those trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time
  • Lift, lesson, and rental packages for a convenient all-in-one experience
